RANDOM
I would begin to walk through the entrance of the trees with Rafiki on my soulder. As soon as the trees were surronding us, the small chimp would jump off my shoulder and begin to run around the forest wildly. To him, this was play time. There was nothing wrong with this. Jooji actually liked seeing Chimchar have his fun. What was to come from it was an abundance of things. He could run into pokemon or simply get to know each other better. Regardless, the little pokemon was excited at to what was to come.
I would be taking in details of the place around him. I needed to know what was where for my research. When I came across a bush/tree with some sort of fruit/object on it, I would move toward it and inspect the fruit as well as take some samples with me. I would constantly look toward the direction of my pokemon in order to ensure that he wasn't causing any trouble for himself or others around.

As I searched the bushes I could hear a noise coming from one of them. Stepping back a quick call would usher Chimchar near me. Though Rafiki wouldn't be near me on the ground but perched up in a tree so it could sneak attack whatever the danger could possibly be. Quickly pulling out my pokedex, I would aim it at the direction of the bush. If it was a pokemon I was going to catch on the pokedex before I planned on another action. As I had hoped! Seviper came out of the bush. It looked quite mad to be honest but I didn't care at the moment. The pokedex would analyze the creature as it began nearing me.
Chimchar wasn't the type to let a threat near Jooji so the first thing Chimchar would do was to try and jump on the back of the Seviper. If it did land on Seviper it would begin a relentless assault on the Seviper's back like it had done earlier to Jooji's rival.

As your Chimchar jumps towards the Seviper, the Seviper positions itself in a manner to where it would be able to execute a Wrap Attack should the Chimchar connect with the Seviper's body. However, slight hints with the positioning of the Seviper's body alludes to this counter-attack.
MAYBE YOU'D BE ABLE TO SEE THESE SIGNS AND THUS AVOID THE COUNTER.

The Chimchar had rushed into battle too soon it seemed since it wouldn't notice the slight change in the Seviper's body. As it attempted to land upon it's body, Rafiki would be wrapped up instead. A squeeze would surely commence and the yell of the monkey pierced the air. Whether it was from pain or anger, no one knew. A fire could be seen coming from Chimchar's mouth as it began to use ember. It did not like begin wrapped up and being stuck. As long as it was concerned, it would light itself up if it meant defeating this opponent.
As the fire in Chimchar mouth grew so would the fire at the tip of the chimps tail. Both sides of Chimchar would certainly place unneeded heat and damage upon the snake like opponent. At this point the tip of the tail would gain an additional burst of fuel as the ember erupted out of the mouth of the young fire starter.

The Seviper really didn't like being set on fire and was in apparent pain when your Chimchar utilized Ember, causing its grip to weaken severely. Due to this, it serves as an opportunity for your Pokemon to escape and possibly retaliate further as the Seviper recooperated after such a close proximity attack.

It seemed that the Chimchar's attack had worked and he was in no way close to stopping his assualt that had now officially started. Once the chimp was able to free itself, it would climb to the top of Seviper's head and would begin it's onslaught. The monkey would grab onto the head of the snake with his feet as his claws would rack the back of the snake's head over and over again. The rage in the Chimchar's eyes were apparent and the attacks didn't slow.
Chimchar's shape was because of the constant training that he had been put through and his healthy pokemon diet that Jooji had placed him on. Chimchar was ready for a battle at all times and his opponent would be the loser in any brawl he joined. As Chimchar was proving at the very moment as it continued it's scratch attacks on Seviper.
I would have stopped the beating but I needed to know how my progress had been going since I placed Rafiki on his regimen. It seemed to be working well. This was simply a test run for Rafiki. Chimchar would soon acquire much more strength, precision, and power. We just have to keep this up.

Quickly after receiving a few scratches to the head, the Seviper whipped his tail around to perform another Wrap attack. If he was successful in wrapping his tail around his opponent, he would then slam the Chimchar into the ground, all the while still maintaining his Wrap. Should the attempt at using Wrap attack fail, however, the Poison-type would simply swing the blade of his tail at the Fire-type, in hopes of whacking it off his head while cutting it.

Ever since he had first been tricked by the damned Pokemon, Rafiki had focused on how the pokemon moved. Being clinged on to it's body, Rafiki knew exactly when it had started shruggin off his attacks. At this point Rafiki would jump off the head of the pokemon, hopefully knocking it off balance, and would retreat to the tree behind Seviper with his jump. The tail that would come after the Chimchar would come short due to the distance in height between the two of them.
Chimchar, however, wouldn't let the opportunity pass. As the tail came up int the air to attempt to slice at the monkey, Chimchar would release yet another ember attack. It would be aimed for the tail of the snake. Chimchar was still attempting to inflict a burn on the opponent as well. Once Chimchar's attack had finished, if it had hit or missed, the small chimp would quickly use a leer attack in hopes of lowering the enemy's defense.
Rafiki was ready to cause major damage. If all had went as planned there would be only one thing left for him to do, the monkey and Jooji hoped.

The Seviper moved as soon as Rafiki did, following him as best it could. The little monkey was fast, but so was the snake. He was able to dodge the majority of the Ember attack, getting caught a bit on the tip of his tail. He swiftly darted to move around Rafiki, missing the Leer attack as well. He struck quickly at the Chimchar, not for a bite, but to use Lick attack. It had a higher chance of paralyzing its victim, than Ember had of burning. He was still angry about the Ember attacks, but channeled this to move harder and faster at his opponent.

Rafiki would continue on with his battle as he noticed the snake following him up the tree. The ember would barely snag the Seviper. As the monkey attempted for a leer, the snake would move yet again. The snake would try to move around Rafiki but that proved to be quite difficult to do on a tree branch. This fact would give Rafiki plenty of time to prepare his attack which would take barely any time. As the Seviper lunged at Rafiki, Rafiki would open it's mouth yet again to release the fires that came from his belly. The ember would be aimed right into the mouth of the snake as it tried to lick Rafiki. There was little change that the snake would get away now, but if it did somehow manage to get away from this attack, Rafiki would surely get hit with the lick.

OoC: Sneaky little monkey... The flames of the Ember attack hit dead on, causing the Seviper to lose his grip on the tree. The pain of receiving the fiery attack right in the face was a distraction to be sure, but Seviper knew it wouldn't go down alone. As he fell, he swung his tail around hard, aiming to slice off the branch that Rafiki was perched on. The inertia of the strike would ensure that the branch didn't land on the Seviper, so he didn't worry about that. It was hitting the ground that he was concerned about. After slicing clean through the branch with his razor-sharp tail blade, he wasted no time in coiling his body. This way, as he landed, the force of the impact was spread out evenly along his body. That strategy, along with the fact that they weren't all that high up, meant the Seviper took no damage from the fall. Instead, as soon as he hit the ground, he sprung up to bite down on Rafiki. Whether Rafiki would be falling, or somehow manage to save itself from falling, the Seviper would make sure he struck with deadly accuracy to bite the monkey's neck. Seviper was certainly in pain, but he wasn't nearly out of the fight, yet.

The more and more this battle lasted, the more this pokemon began to interest Jooji. As the pokemon fell off the branch and began to coil it's body, a pokeball would be launched at it. The time that the pokemon came into contact with the floor would match the time that the pokeball would connect with the snake pokemon. Seeing as the Seviper had been quite injured, Jooji figured he would be able to catch the foe.
Rafiki would be a bit out of luck. He hadn't been expecting for the snake to cut the branch. The branch and Rafiki would come crashing into the ground. This would cause some damage to occur on the pokemon. Since the pokeball had been thrown at the Seviper, Rafiki had time to get up and prepare itself just in case it broke out the pokeball.

The Poison-type cried out as it got sucked into the pokéball. The ball shook furiously, as the Seviper tried its best to escape. Over time, however, the shaking became less and less fervent, and the Seviper could fight against the pokéball's constraints no longer. *Bing*
The Seviper is captured.

Random It seemed that Seviper now had an owner. Jooji would let the snake rest before he decided to use him. Chimchar was fine. He had taken a bit of damage but that was nothing to worry about. At least not yet. Chimchar would return to his playful manner as Jooji continued his searching for anything of interest and Rafiki continued his playing on the trees.
As Jooji looked through the area he would think of what to name Seviper. He liked giving all his pokemon nick names. To him, it was a sign of love. All pokemon deserved nick names. There was no exceptions. At least not yet...
