An east-west route, connecting New Bark Town in the east and Cherrygrove Town in the west.

A small city located in south-east Johto. Although there is no gym present within the city, this place is still frequently passed by travelers of every sort.

A north-south route that connects Route 31 to the north and Cherrygrove City to the south.

A rather short east-west Route that connects Violet City to the west and the entrance to Dark Cave in the east.

The first city to possess a Gym, many travelers pass by here in order to challenge the Gym Leader located here or to partake in the exploration of the city's Sprout Tower.

A popular route that is directly south from Violet City. Also on this route is the Union Cave, which is the only way of getting from Route 32 to Route 33.

A deep underground cave that houses a large amount of water. It connects both Route 32 and Route 33 together and is the only method of passage between the two on foot.

An extremely short route that provides the second entrance to Union Cave but connects with Azalea Town to the west.

A small isolated town that is home to the Second Gym. Although the town is small, it possesses a rather popular location known as the Slowpoke Well, built due to the town’s reverence towards Slowpoke.

An extremely dense forest that connects Azalea Town and Route 34. The forest is so dense that it seems like the forest is in perpetual night.

A straightforward route that connects IIex Forest to the south and Goldenrod City to the north.

An immense metropolis as it is Johto’s largest city and the center of telecommunications. Major attractions rest within the city and is also home to the Third Gym.

A route that connects Goldenrod City to the south and Route 36 to the east.

A route that connects Route 37 to the north, Violet City to the east and Route 35 to the south.

A short route that connects Ecruteak City to the north and Route 36 to the south.

A city that is known for its traditional Japanese architecture as well as the vast amounts of history shrouding the city itself. This city is also home to the Fourth Gym.

A route that connects Ecruteak City to the east and Route 39 to the west.

A route that connects Route 38 to the east and Olivine City to the south.

A port city located on the Johto coast, being the focal point of sea trade within the Johto Region. This city is also home to the Sixth Gym.

A seaside city seemingly located on a different landmass than the rest of the Johto Region. Fable surrounds the city, claiming that Lugia generates the various whirlpools that are spotted in the waters surrounding the city. This city is also home to the Fifth Gym.

A route that connects with Olivine City to the east, Route 40 to the south. The entrance to the Battle Frontier is also present on this route.

A route that connects with Route 40 to the north and Cianwood City to the west. The Whirl Islands also accompany this route as well. Despite the route being composed almost entirely of water, there are a ready amount of ferries and boats available for those wishing to traverse this route.

A route that connects with Ecruteak City to the west and Mahogany Town to the east. Also, the Mt. Mortar rests within the route as well.

A quiet town that is situated near the Lake of Rage. However, it is said that Team Rocket’s HQ is located within this small town although this has not been totally confirmed by individuals outside of the organization.

A route that connects with Mahogany Town to the south and the Lake of Rage to the north.

An extremely popular lake that is visited by a large number of tourists, whether it is to swim, search for Pokemon or simply enjoy the attractions that are available at the lake.

A straightforward route that connects Mahogany Town to the west with the Ice Path to the east.

A large, icy cave that connects with Route 44 and Blackthorn City and is the only method of passage between the two on foot.

A mountainous city that houses a den home to numerous amount of Dragon Pokemon, due to a distinct clan who were masters of Dragon Pokemon once residing within the city. The last Gym is also present within the city.

A route that connects Blackthorn City to the north and Route 46 to the west.

A route that connects Route 45 to the east and Route 29 to the south. It is also the location of another entrance to Dark Cave.

A unique route that connects with a specialized Gate west and Route 48 to the north. The route itself is literally carved into the sides of the cliffs located west of Cianwood City. As such, in order to get to this route, one simply has to go west of Cianwood City via water or air transportation.

A route that connects the Safari Zone to the north and Route 47 to the south.

A specialized Pokemon reserve that houses a large number and variety of Pokemon that are available for capture. Rare Pokemon are even located within the Safari Zone, making trips to the Safari Zone worthwhile.

A route that connects New Bark Town to the west and Route 26 to the east.

A route that connects the Pokemon League Reception Gate to the north and Route 26 to the south.

A intersection between many locations as well as a rest point before Victory Road. Only those who possess all eight badges are able to progress onward towards the Victory Road however others are able to journey to Mt. Silver from the Reception Gate should they wish.

A gigantic mountain located west of the Reception Gate. Many powerful and rare Pokemon are able to be found within this very mountain as it serves as a reservoir for only the strongest individuals.
