The scent of adventure [OPEN]

Silva and his trusty partner Roselia were on the road, as usual. Silva walked bare feet as usual, Roselia keeping close behind him.

The sun was at its highest, peeking through the leaves of the tree. Neither trainer nor Pokemon kept to the road. Where was the fun in that? No adventure to be found there. Or at least, not at much.

Silva hummed a song as he walked, feet treading softly in the undergrowth. Seize the day and don't hold back.

A wild Pidgey Appeared!

She darts out of the trees toward you. Apparently you came to close to her nest while romping around in the forest.

Silva gasped and dived to the ground as the angry Pidgey soared overhead. "Ack" He gasped, looking at Roselia, who had also dived down. Silva looked around, just in time to see the angry bird coming at him again. "R-Roselia, absorb it's energies!" Silva orders, the Rose pokemon obaying instantly, sending out green bulbs from its rose-hands, leeching on to the pidgey and draining it from it's energy.

The Pidgey swooped in again, a powerful flap from it's wings sent a Gust attack raging toward your delicate Roselia. You would realize that the Absorb attack wasn't very effective at all as the Pidgey shrugged off the negligible damage. On top of this, the Gust attack would deal significant damage to your grass type Pokemon should it connect.

Roselia is swooped off by the gust of wind. It lands a little while off into the bushes. Silva gasps, glancing at the angry pidgey. "Bugger off, will you? Shoo! Shoo!" He shouts, waving his hands at the bird. "Stop bothering us and go back to your eggs." Speaking lioudly in accordance with his wild movements, he hopes the bird will leave his precious pokemon (and him) alone.

((Uhw...sorry I don't know how anything works. This is my first pokemon forum rp, to be honest T_T;; Am I making stupid mistakes?))

The Pidgey is confused by your antics, and decides to return to it's eggs. It flies away, landing in a tree and disappearing from your sight.

(For future reference, Flying types are strong against Grass type Pokemon.)

Silva smiles gently and lowers to his dear pokemon. "Are you alright, Rose?" He asks gently, rubbing his partner on her head. She cheers a merry "Roseee" at him, snuggling against his hands. The two are clearly good friends and have been together for quite a while.

"Yah, I miss home too. But we promised dad we'd see through this and come home safely. It's still a long way to get to mahogany town." He said. His father had taken him here on his trusty Fearow and dropped him off. "Newbark, the best place to start your own journey, son!" He had said, before flying off again. "We need to bring home a badge or a contest ribbon. Or at least a dew new pokemon. Or...or maybe we can find a shiny stone! Evolve you into a Roserade." He rambled on, still snuggling his pokemon. "That would be great, wouldn't it?" He asked. His Roselia replied with a firm nod and a loud "E-liaa!"

((Of course I knew that, but it's not about that. I just don't know how things work. I saw forums where you can actually kill pokemon. Cause I don't want to catch or kill a pokemon that has a nest (or at least, Silva doesn't want to)...you know? >,<; ))

The Ledyba could be seen floating over some flowers enjoying the smell.

Silva noticed the little Ladyba zoomer over the flowers. The flowers did smell nice. He stepped forward, stepping into the grass. He raised his chin up as the sunlight hit his face, basking in it for a bit. Roselia stood next to him, soaking up the sunlight as well. They were like a pair of roses, the two of them. Finally, Silva opened his eyes again, finding the Ladyba was still here, eying the two of them curiously. "Hello there, little one. Finding any honey?" He asked with a gentle smile.

A huge amount of interest would be given to Roselia as Ledyba noticed the flowers on the pokemon. With great happiness the Ledyba would begin to fly around the flower pokemon as it tried to inspect the flowers that were found on the pokemon.

As it heard the trainer, the pokemon would look up to him and answer with a strong "Ledy!" Signalling that it was having quite the amount of fun floating around attempting to play with Roselia and the trainer.

Silva lowered to the little bug and touched it gently, while Roselia was not so fond of bugs. They tended to nibble on her roses. She hid behind Silva's leg with a grumpy little "Rose-rose..."

Silva laughed gently and took out a few pieces of pokemon food. "Would you like some?" He asked, holding it out for the friendly critter.

The lady bug type pokemon would leap up into the trainer's arm as it was offered the food. It would take a seat right on his hand as well as it continued to eat the food offered to it. After it finished, it would hug the trainers arm. It seemed that Ledyba had grown close to the trainer already.

"You're a Ledyba, arn't you? I thought you guys we're usually nervous when alone, and only moved in a group. You seem to be more of the loner type. Well, with others of your kind that is." Silva mused to the ladybug on his arm in a gentle voice. Roselia was still pouting her lips, not liking the sight of the leaf eating bug.

"Hm...you smell nice too. just like Rose here." He said. "Do you want to stay with me?" He asked, not offering more food, not wanting the pokemon to come along with him just for the food. Instead, he held up an empty pokeball.

[Shonkey.]

The Ledyba contemplated this for a good few moments, looking amongst you, Rose, and its current home in the wild. It heavily weighed the pros and cons of joining you, and finally agreed, as you could certainly provide it with protection and nice company. Letting out a happy coo, it agreed to your offer and awaited you capturing it.

Ledyba is considered captured. +1XP

Silva smiles happily and gently taps the pokeball against the Ledyba's back. The creature is engulfed in a bright red light and disappears inside the ball. The ball shakes a few times as the Ledaby settles in, then becomes still. Silva smiles and presses the ball against his cheek. "Does that feel nice? I wouldn't know how it feels...but I think it's warm and comfortable." He muses, closing his eyes a moment.

Roselia sniffs loudly and tugs at Silva's wide harem pants. "Whats wrong, my lady?" He asks, opening his eyes and lowering himself down. "You're my favorite, you know that right? Always will be. Because you smell best of all. And you're beautiful." He cood, knowing Roselia loved being pampered. She was such a sassy lady. She brought her roses to her face and mused a shy "Eliaa...." back, ready to accept the bug as a new member of the family.

"Come on then, lets walk through the flowers. The sun...the flowers. Welcome a new day." He mused, pocketing Ledyba's pokeball and running ahead suddenly, through the field of flowers. His arms spread wide, catching the breeze on his skin.
